New video search at FileTram!

FileTram team is happy to present our users a new type of search, that was specifically developed to search video content using ~20 most popular video hosting web sites as the source. As much as the regular search, this new feature provides a number of options that will help you to find exactly what you were looking for.

Getting started

The first thing you should do to start searching for specific videos is to enter the video search page. To do so you have to click on “More” link which is located in the top left corner of the screen:

…and choose “Video Search Engine” option:

Congratulations! Now you can start searching for video content! Let’s make a brief observation of the available features and options you can choose to make your search even more accurate:

1. Keywords

The first thing you should consider is choosing a basic keyword for you search. You will be provided with a number of suggestions that might assist you. Let’s try something funny:

2. Video hosting services list

Now it’s time to actually choose the video hosting service you want to scan. You can choose a specific one or all of them (~20) at once!

3. Preferred listing order

With FileTram you can choose one of the four types of listing for your search results. These are “Relevance” (the most accurate results will be displayed first), “Views” (the most popular videos will go first), “Duration” (the longest ones will be given the right to be listed first) and “Date” (you will see the most recent videos in the top of the list). You can reset your last set listing filter by clicking “Reset Options” link:

Click “Play” button on the player and enjoy your video online!
